Inventory Control Analyst
Current-Procure a wide range of products, services, and raw materials, including pipe fittings, nuts-bolts-screws, electrical components, PCB assemblies, and manufacturing components.-Strategically manage purchases and suppliers, improving lead times and enhancing production flow.-Conduct in-depth analysis of inventory levels and reports to determine economic order quantities, reorder points, and safety stock, ensuring product availability while minimizing inventory costs.-Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, fostering open communication and reliability.-Successfully reduced costs by 35% for one product line through effective contract negotiation with prospective suppliers.-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, stockroom, and production, to implement a Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory system, resulting in meeting production schedules.-Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and requisition to purchase order, receipt, receiving, and invoice, ensuring on-time delivery of components, services, and raw materials.
