(Benchmark activity & engineering changes proposals)- Manufacturing process validation (cycle time, equipment and operators used in the operation for each process, labor cost, investment) to identify potential cost reduction opportunities.Achievements:- Development and implementation of cost reduction program, we obtained 10 Mio USD as cost reduction in 2009 and 18 MIO USD in 2010.

- Responsible for development, administration and execution of infrastructure projects and equipment in Mx. Plant.- Responsible for the energy saving project, updating the old lighting system to automatic performance; achieving a 20% reduction in electricity billing.

- Responsible for development and implementation of KPI system for tracking the activities in tool shop area. Reporting this information to plant manager.- Sourcing for new suppliers for material and services used for maintenance and tooling construction (stamping and injection) as well as for assembly lines.- Cost calculation for new tooling construction.- Management and budget control for the area.- Responsible for the development and implementation of procedures for ISO 9001 quality system.Achievements:- Implementation of internal procedures for ISO 9001 quality system and certification of this area.- Increase of the productivity from 60% to 75% in tool shop (reducing tooling construction cost and time).
