I am a first-generation college student with roots on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border, driven by a passion for medicine and community health. Inspired by witnessing my grandfather’s medical emergency during the pandemic, I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science with an emphasis on Neurobiology at the University of Arizona.Currently, I am continuing my education in the Accelerated Pathway to Medical Education (APME) program, leading to an MD.
