Facilitate identification, planning and implementation of key projects to improve quality, reduce cost, increase productivity, reduce waste, COQ, etc. resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction.Oversee Plant Food Safety, SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) programs, internal audits and serve as facility main representative during audits (3rd Party, SQF/BRC); ensure compliance with other regulations as necessary.Assist with identification of current process gaps and work closely with all levels of the organization to improve and develop procedures and processes; coordinate process improvements related to Safety, Quality, Production and Shipping Performance, Waste reduction, Maintenance/Equipment efficiency and TPM Program.Work closely with executive staff and active role in the Leadership Management Team to help achieve goals, drive current and future manufacturing performance in the areas of Safety, Quality, CI, Productivity and Cost; provide update and information for management decisions; work closely with Regional Quality and Process Improvement Manager improvements to the Quality System.

Drive continuous improvement throughout the plant; ensure that changes and improvements are achieved.Lead Kaizen events, workshops and trainings.Monitor and follow-up progress of planned improvements/actions/activities.Manage and track cost savings improvements; work closely with executive staff in achieve CI goals and provide information for management decisions.Lead, coach and participate in CI and cross-functional teams to develop business process and identify improvements.Lead problem solving efforts, develop, recommended and implemented strategies to improve processes efficiency, eliminate waste, reduce downtime and achieve cost benefits.Develop, review and analyze data, VSM, processes and material flow to identify improvements, remove non-value-added activities and target improvements.Provide guidance, coach and engage personnel of all levels to drive CI efforts identify and implement improvements using CI tools.Develop, review and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), forms and other related documentation in accordance with quality regulations and documentation requirements.Audit internal manufacturing, quality, warehouse and materials flow processes and implement improvements.Provide technical, business and engineering support to process Validations, Engineers, Process owners, Project leaders, Quality, Materials and Manufacturing departments.
