Brought in by the General Manager to encourage a culture of high customer service levels amongst the conference porters, and to ensure our clientele are loved when they are on the estate.My role consists of enduring day to day running of conferences and banquets. Liaising with the Sales Office and Restaurant about forthcoming events and making sure all customers are greeted and their requirements are met, taking decisions on the spot as and when a need emerges. Health and Safety wise, I ensure all the AV and electrical equipment is set-up properly.I have worked closely with the Head Chef during the 2012 Olympics, coordinating the catering for the G8 security staff; an average of 2000 meals per day over 4 days, which generated a a £50K turnover. Sunningdale's yearly turnover is very substantial. I have a very good understanding and knowledge of KPIs, and I report and assist in the production of monthly management accounts.
