My current position at The Cuyahoga County Division of Children and Family Services has equipped me with several skills that transcend across a wide range of fields. As a Social Worker 3 my responsibilities include managing a case load which can fluctuate between 10-25 open investigations, assessing the safety of the household and family dynamics, identify and address safety concerns in the home, and formulate case plans geared toward getting families back on track. I document all of these efforts in great detail to ensure the individual families on my case load are provided effective and efficient service. The position also involves working directly with legal and medical professionals; i.e., judges, magistrates, attorneys, law enforcement, doctors, nurses, social workers, and case managers.
