Founder, responsible for managing production partners, producing quotes for clients, overseeing international shipping, proposal writing, budgetting our projects and administration. At the same time developing our Quality Assurance protocol and training our personnel in Kenya and Uganda to implement this protocol. As part of this function I have familiarized myself with diverse ISO norms like 13485:2016, MDR and FDA standards. Additionally I optimize our internal digital systems for operational excellence.

Technical Product DeveloperResponsible for iterating the digital microscope by collecting and implementing user feedback. Using prototyping tools like 3d printing and mechatronics to finalize and test concepts while considering production techniques for small batches. I also source and communicate with manufacturing partners, oversee production and assembling.In all this, I am product owner and determine the directions for further product development for the team and am responsible for timely delivery of our projects through adequate team and project management. I also have explored, established and prepared the route to take for FDA or MDR IVDR registration of the microscope for worldwide use by interacting with several agencies.

Developing a robust, portable, aesthetically pleasing housing for an automated microscope. I developed a concept, used diverse production techniques like vacuumforming, CNC-machining, laser cutting and molding to prototype this embodiment. I also designed a PCB via which I could control power, an LCD touchscreen and an onboard battery.

During this internship I iterated the opto-mechanical parts for an automatic microscope. I also succesfully wrote and applied for a patent during my time here.

In this job, I teach Windsurfing to children and adults. For this job I was trained by which I gained didactic skills. For a period of time, I lead the Windsurf team and organized trainings for fellow instructors to improve our didactic skills.
