This internship position consisted in both desk reviews and architectural survey of the Master Shipwright’s Residence in Port Arthur, Tasmania, Australia, at the Department of Conservation and Infrastructure of PAHSMA. The outcome was a written report on the analysis of the documentary record, conservation and interpretation interventions and policies for this heritage-listed site, equipped with a practise-oriented protocol for future architectural surveys.
