  Business Growth and Portfolio Development – • Develop and grow relationships with brokers in the allocated region to maximise business opportunities by analysing existing business profile and identifying and developing opportunities which meet segmentation, risk and profit objectives. • Build and manager relationships with allocated brokers including visitation, call and business progress plans • Oversee new business and renewal underwriting in conjunction with the Broker Personal Sales teams • Proactively seek sales opportunities and implements / contributes to the strategic planning and direction of the key broker portfolios and relationships • Identify opportunities and grow profitable business from brokers • Undertake portfolio reviews, develop a strategic business plan and conduct on going reviews and reporting for allocated brokers • Contribute to building and developing non-broker relationships in the community that support sustainability objectives • Maintain underwriting and ethical standards in accordance with market leadership position Business Management – • In consultation with the Regional Manager and/or Broker Manager, ensure that broker service meets and/or exceeds agreed levels in terms of quality and timeliness • Monitor areas of potentially significant business risk in order to obtain early feedback on performance to enable any adverse consequences to be mitigated Customer Care – • Proactively contribute to improve the image and outcomes of the company within the marketplace to the external customer as well as provide excellent internal customer service.
