I am a straightforward and reliable person, wanting to achieve and develop in all aspects of my life, stepping up to give to the team and myself.I have enjoyed many opportunities and positions while employed in Air New Zealand. This has proved my ability to not only cope with change but to relish and grow from it.I believe a good leader not only comes from natural manner but also education and mentorship. I maintain and enhance company standards from previous experiences as Health & Safety representative and business class coach helping to guide and motivate fellow crew. As Inflight Service Manager as well as Trainer-Checker role, I have taken ownership for the day, polishing gained skills and lead by example, dealing with customer and crew issues both on and off the aircraft.I have learned through my roles as coach (trainer-checker), Health & Safety representative and Fatigue Risk Management representative the ability to convey ideas to individuals and groups. You must be able to relate your vision to work towards the same goal.I have successfully gained degrees in Shipping and Freight, and worked as National Container Controller for Quadrant Pacific Agencies.In order to enhance my professional and personal peoples’ skills I have recently completed a graduate diploma in Human Resource Management.
