This publication described the different activities done to reduce LIH events from 7 in 2010 to only 2 in 2011 and increase the amount of drilled meters per fish lost in hole from 19,900 in 2010 to 66,200 in 2011. I presented this study on the 2012 Mexican Petroleum Congress.• Face to face contact in a daily basis with clients as Schlumberger drilling technical representative.• Well types: J, S, Horizontals, Sidetracks, Verticals; Exploratory, Semi-exploratory, Development; High Temperature, High Pressure (HTHP), High Temperature-Low Pressure (HTLP); Nitrogen Injection wells.
