It's now been 2 years since starting my own company and so far its the best thing I have ever done. Great to meet new people in a wide variety of industries. To date we have carried out a variety of work from RAF Club extension to underground coffee shop that was previously a public toilet. We pride ourselves on giving a great service and are commited to each project we undertake. A great way to monitor how we are performing is by our clients giving us feedback and the fact we are given repeat business signifies we are doing it right. We not looking for the quick buck but to establish long term relationships with our clients, we are committed to them and there success.

My last role was Head of Electrical division of CDS Group. The company has grown massively over the past 5 years. The electrical dept now has a turnover in access of £7m. I run this division by myself with minimal input from the CEO.My role included design, install all types of electrical works inc lighting power, fire, intruder, cctv, door access control, data, music systems. Projects varied from a one off bespoke display unit with led lighting to £700k fit (electrical package) out of 130,000 sq ft retail units. I covered UK, Ireland and Europe. I enjoyed my time and made some very good friends along the way and will no doubt stay in touch.

Day to day running of the electrical division. Project surveys throughout the UK and Europe, estimating, electrical design, to final accounts on a range of projects from £25k-£700k with approximately 10-25 projects running simultaneously. Compiling programme of works to coincide with main contractors programme, weekly site meetings and update on programme. Sign off subcontractors invoice payment submission. Keeping overheads to minimum to enhance profit.I describe myself as hard working, honest, driven, approachable, knowledgeable, great team player and with a good sense of humor.

I started at EF Group back in 2004. My background is in large commercial / industrial / retaill projects. Some examples being Coast, Oasis, Tie Rack, Lush, Mappin & Webb, Goldsmiths, HSBC, Santander, Portman building Society, Novartis (Horsham), Shoreham power station, South Bank university, EMAP, Marine treatment works, Virgin Gatwick / Heathrow BAA Gatwick/Heathrow/Stansted/Edinburgh/ Glasgow and so this list goes on. I joined EF group as Electrical manager overseeing all contracts varying in size. A fantastic company to work for, i gained exsperiance in many areas due to the diverse projects EF Group carrried out. John Lewin gave me a chance which i will always be thankfull for from then on there was no stoping me. Projects ranged from £100.00 to £750k working for probalay the largest oil producer in the UK to bespoke phone shop buit in the factory, dismantleded and erected in Budapest, Topolski Memoir Waterloo just to show how diverse the range of projects. Since joining CDS Group Services the projects have been coming thick and fast. In the past 4 years we have fitted out over 40 Range projects, started very successful fire and security division which covers UK and worked for some of the most successful IT companies in the world. 2014 order book is already bursting we already have orders for projects commencing in 2015-2016. The speed of which CDS has grown is quite astounding this is due to providing good job for the right money and having dedicated staff who take pride in there work they all want to be proud of the work they put in to achieving another successful project for the client.
