- Data Management1. Involve in new regional data platform, Advance Data Analytic (ADA), roll out. Participate in data ingestion stage and use case development.2. In charge of Finance data architecture program, built up data dictionary, identify all data source and data lineage, streamline report workflow3. Manage data quality issue for whole finance department, oversee the status of issues, coordinate root cause finding, provide solution recommendations and co-work with user and tech side until issue fix4. Act as data steward, representing Finance in local and regional data community, communicating and solving different data issues5. Provide trainings and updates on bank data strategy for Finance colleagues, assist them involve in data driven environment6. Create data pipeline on grabbing external data for reporting usage- Project1. Implement HKMA regulatory reporting solution, bridging between finance users, vendor WKFS and technology team2. Manage all change initiatives and software development life cycle in agile approach including backlog management and sprint planning3. In charge of business analysis, requirements gathering, co-ordinating with local and regional technology team4. Involve in global MIS revamp and report consolidation project, e.g. MAS610 in SG, managing head office and local users on requirement gathering, data mapping, UAT and production verification5. Lead and drive HKMA Granular Data Reporting (GDR) project, work together with IT on data mapping, data verification and regulatory returns alignment6. In charge of P&L system revamp project, mainly focus on data quality. Perform pre-engine check and configuration alignment between old and new system 7. - Business Analysis, MIS and Regulatory Reporting1. Analyze business requirements in order to compile different MIS reports for senior management and regulatory reports (Banking Returns) for Hong Kong Monetary Authority.2. Review and enhance the existing business process and operation flow.3. Liaise, consolidate and prepare business requirement specification with users for the IT team in local or head office.4. Design and implement data flow automation and re-engineering processes. 5. Develop automation programming via SQL store procedures and Excel macro.6. Lead a MIS reporting team to perform MIS reporting automation, database management and data quality monitoring.- Business Intelligence Project1. Analyze and consolidate suitable information from different MIS and regulatory reports to display on BI tool, IBM Cognos.2. Design and implement Cognos data flow automation and re-engineering processes.3. Design, develop and implement user-friendly dashboards in Cognos.4.
