Direct the day-to-day operation of the engineering department for a 440-bed acute care hospital. Responsible for completion of corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, SOC and EOC items correction. Ensure that all JCAHO, OSHA, EPA, and NFPA requirements are met or exceeded, and that supporting documentation exists.Manage staff departmental training and personnel evaluations. Simultaneously manage a $1.2M CAT scan project, a $1.4M two patient floor renovation, a $500,000 LDRP renovation, and appox. $400,000 in other misc. projects. Prepare and present construction reports for the VP of Operations.
