Manage a development team of more than 230 employees, including several backend departments, client-side department (smart tv, android, iOS, web), QA, devops.I am responsible for the technical strategy, interaction between departments and business, budgeting.

Led client-side development of Zen Video after merging Yandex.Ether and Yandex.Zen for creating the unified UGC platform in the company.I was responsible for Android, iOS, Web, QA teams and also managed several backend teams, we have grown from 30 to 80 people.We launched a new Video service on the web, added ugc-live videos, video feeds on android and iOS. Our big project was a feed of short videos on android, iOS and the web, where we optimized the playback start along with the inclusion of advertising.Together with this, we've bought a separate application for video editing on android and iOS, integrated it with our product and released it as part of Zen and Yandex app.For successful work we had to synchronize Zen metadata (tens of millions of documents) and Video hosting metadata (millions of all Yandex videos). And also optimized the storage space (several petabytes) and traffic (hundreds of gigabits per second).

Together with a part of our team, we moved to the new Yandex.Ether department to expand Yandex video into UGC area. I led the development of the video player, main page, blogger's ui and product backend, worked closely with the video hosting and streaming teams.We launched UGC platform with tens of thousands of uploaded videos per day and a multiple increase in views due to improves in recommendations. I was focused on creating and implementing different video quality metrics (playback start, stalled, errors, traffic) and analysis of problems with playback for users.Also developed the first version of the video platform analytics.

Was leading frontend and QA team of Yandex Main Page. I launched a dozen of different projects (such as https://habr.com/ru/company/yandex/blog/335982/ or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhIqkLKIF-8)Was also responsible for Yandex frontend performance. With a small team of several people we have created and implemented a system of performance metrics for 30+ different services. We developed it later into a full-scale observability system https://highload.ru/foundation/2022/abstracts/8080I developed first UI of Zen feed - from MVP to launch, including monetization. After that I made a separate team who continued to develop the project after me.

We were among the first in the company who made releases every day and with a team of 4-6 frontend developers were running a service with a 30+ million users per day.As a responsible for the performance I made many researches and optimizations. The biggest thing was a transition from Template Toolkit templates to a pure V8 with the same client-side/server-side code.
