As a high school student there are many interests for me to explore in education and potential internships/jobs. During my time in school there have been 3 subjects that have gained my interest: math, computer science, and Japanese.I have been interested in math since elementary school and have pushed myself to get ahead and challenge myself in math related classes. I was introduced to computer science in elementary school when my advanced math teacher wanted to explain variables in a fun way. Since then I have taken 2 AP computer science courses and plan on taking another one this school year as well as self studying Python and machine learning on kaggle.I started learning Japanese in 9th grade through central academy and realized that I enjoyed learning and figuring out Japanese. During Junior year of high school I scored well enough to earn a seal of biliteracy in Iowa for Japanese. I am always looking for a chance to learn and use Japanese.

  Internship that was over the summer of 2023. learned about the insurance industry and built skills like presenting and using googles work suite. Also earned my APIR (Associate Professional in Insurance Regulation) during the duration of the internship.
