• Lead NPI cross-functional teams to bring new products from Alpha to Beta phase, including planning, developing manufacturing processes, prototype testing, Technician training, equipment setup and production ramp-up• Collaborate with design, engineering and quality team to ensure product meets customer requirements and ensure manufacturability.• Implement process improvements to reduce production overheads and increase efficiency• Improved production output by 3.5 times through process optimization and lean manufacturing implementation.Other high volume product responsibilities:• Manage a team of 4 supervisors with total strength of 100 technicians to deliver tools on time with good quality and at lowest cost.• Accountable for productivity, quality and training metrics of staff and provide regular metrics updates to management and cross-functional stakeholders. • Provide coaching and mentorship to supervisors and team leaders. Conduct performance reviews and resolving performance issues. • Collaborate with inter-department to set out mid to long term capacity planning strategy and mitigation plans to overcome challenges to schedule.• Lead and drive LEAN improvement projects. (SMED, VSM, Kaizen, Poka Yoke)• Collaborate with engineering, quality team on non-conformance investigations and drive corrective actions
