  Epner Technology is a Surface Finishing company that applies metal coatings on existing parts or plating. We predominately handle Gold plating jobs which is what we're known for the high reflectivity/low emissivity and a hard durable 24 karat gold. We do also plate other metals as well such as nickel, copper, silver, rhodium, platinum, etc on various substrates. Evaluate drawings, specification call outs, as well as acquire technical information from customers about their parts that need plating. Solving issues that the shop or customer may have about any difficult or impossible plating problems to meet customer's needs given their limitations and restrictions. Pricing and quoting the plating service we provide for customers. Coordinating jobs with the shop to maintain lead times as well as expedites. Work with customers from start to finish by quoting and providing customer service all detailed paperwork and status updates. Technical knowledge on substrates, material plating, material compatible adherence, purposes of plating ranging from the Art Industry (decorative) to RND/Military/Aerospace Industry (scientific properties) such as high reflectivity/low emissivity of visible/IR/microwave light spectrum, absorbtivity, durability, conductivity, etc. Plating on plastic parts, complications of masking parts or plugging holes, different techniques and ranges of polish, plating thickness for different purposes, variations of specific plating metals to meet the purposes, thermal limitations of metals, chemical processes, types of baking processes, etc.
