Me being Hispanic and the first one in my family to go to a university and graduate is an accomplishment that I hold dearly and am proud of. Throughout my years as a student, I have come to learn and understand the importance of education. For instance, having education not only helps you become a well rounded individual, it gives you a voice. When entering the workforce, I came to realize that education is not only about books but about the way you behave and act. For instance, my years working at places were customer service was required, all my education came handy because life is 1 percent what happens to you but 99 percent how you react to those things. All in all, I am open to new ideas and am eager to learn.
