Responsible for cataloguing and digitalizing a corpus of 80.000 incunabola and manuscripts owned by Vatican Library in the field of "Polonsky Project" and "NTT Project".

In charge of a team who were revising the records of the old national catalogue of Italian Labour Union (CISL), creating metadata with XML language and MAG standard, the Italian version of METS. We were also digitizing and publishing on the CISL website the entire collection, which includes official documents, books and periodicals owned by CISL.

I had worked at the Department of Italian Studies of the University of Rome ‘Sapienza’, where I digitalised 1400 Incunabula, converting them into image formats, creating all the metadata using XML language and METS, MODS, MIX as standards. I am still working as Consultant on XSLT and CSS.

I had been engaged in the ‘FIRB project’, which saw the cooperation of the Department of Italian Studies, the University of Pisa and the Italian Central Institute for the Union Catalogue (ICCU). In collaboration with Giuliana De Francesco, Head of International Projects for the Access to Cultural Heritage, I developed the guidelines to be used to catalogue the most important resources for Italian studies in linguistics, literature and arts. We have adapted the MICHAEL-EU DCAP to the description of websites, using the same "core" data model, whereas modifying the Entities. I am still working as a consultant on the application of 'The New Thesaurus of BNFC' (National Library of Florence) to contents of web-pages
