Responsible for the integration of two shelter companies into MFI’s SAP system. In change of setup of all raw material part numbers, and the creation of the BOMs structures for all finished goods into MFIs SAP ERP system. Responsible for the creation of cut specifications and work instructions for all new projects introductions (NPIs). Accountable for the successful launch of new projects in the Juarez and Jimenez manufacturing plants.

Responsible for coordinating the implementation of all new products introduced into Juarez plant. As the senior technical leader, I am accountable for the successful performance of all pilot runs, internal validation builds and pre-production customer builds as well as for a complete customer approval of all NPIs. Also responsible for managing production transfers of from other Molex locations into Juarez plan.Responsible for creation and implementation of engineering changes driven by the Juarez plant as well as for the current product sustaining and documentation maintenance. In charge of the creation, set up and implementation of standard product options (SPOs) within 24 hrs. of receiving a customer order.

Responsible for the creation, development and management of a world class research and development (R&D) engineering group located in the Juarez Fuel Management assembly plant. Started local R&D group in 2006 with only 3 design engineers, and progressively increased headcount to current 15 R&D heads including: 11 Design Engineers, 1 DFMEA/DFSS Coordinator , 1 SAP PDM Coordinator, and 2 Design General Supervisors.Responsible for all technical aspects of current production fuel modules produced in Juarez Facility.In change of development of new generation products for the North American OEMs and technical interface to other R&D groups for worldwide OEMs. Participate in plant daily Gemba walks, weekly staff meetings, monthly operations and quality reviews and yearly management review and strategy planning. Major responsibilities include:• Drive R&D group to support business plan and strategy• Support manufacturing plant with daily issues• Allocate resources appropriately; ensure objectives are successfully met per timing plan.• Conduct required associate follow-up to ensure customer expectations are met.• Conduct objective/performance reviews with responsible head count• Ensure employees receive adequate training.• Develop resource and capital plans; execute plan to procure resources• Serve as technical expert/advisor to the design group• Coordinate design activities with counterparts in US, Germany and China• Oversee development/improvement of engineering documentation, procedures/tools. • Ensure associates adhere to documentation/process requirements• Develop group capabilities and skills to improve efficiency and effectiveness• Develop module design and drafting standards and ensure compliance• Ensure international roles and responsibilities agreements are met
