Space & Timetabling Manager

Ownership of the University’s chosen timetabling systems (o! Timetable initially, later CELCAT), responsibility for the annual production and maintenance of all course and exam timetables, associated internal and external reporting, strategic planning, and continuous improvement of timetabling and room booking service delivery.Key Responsibilities- Team lead responsible for all operational matters related to timetabling and room booking.- Direct line manager for one timetabling and room booking officer.- Strategic planning, consulting with academic Schools and Divisions for targeted improvement of timetabling practice to improve the student experience, based on scores and feedback on surveys like the National Student Survey.- Space Planning and management - maintaining all relevant databases (Archibus), maintenance and distribution of CAD drawings and occupancy data.- Reporting to HESA and QMU management on all matters relating to timetabling and space management.- Collaborate with Estates & Facilities for estate planning and optimisation.- Planning, specification and maintenance of integration with existing systems (SITS, Registry, Attendance Monitoring, iCal, Archibus.)
