Senior Principal Engineer
CurrentProduct Engineering Lead in development of multiple broadband products such as intelligent battery backup, WiFi broadband router, Docsis 4.0 FDX Spectrum Analyzer. Responsible for steering vendors and internal software and hardware teams on protocol optimization at PHY and MAC layers, selection of batteries based on use cases with cost constraints, optimization of 802.15.4 technologies as well as enhancing 802.11[ax/be] performance. This may include improving coexistence airtime allocation, managing Tx power levels, optimizing software stacks. Efforts on product optimization have resulted in multiple patents filedOther contributions include enhancement of provisioning process for Docsis 3.1/4.0 products, from bootfile/CoS development to defining secure key size necessary for various service features. Also serve as a technology lead to WiFi performance team to help define test methodology for IoT and WiFi standards as they evolve.
