To accomplish our goals on the project, we’re keeping in control of the scrap process by making daily, weekly and monthly reports and graphics of all the plant and attacking the top 5 problems by making corrective actions.Also, we made a team designated to each swift of the plant in order to reduce the scrap. To the team meetings are invited: quality auditors, technicians, leaders, supervisors and Engineers, to debate of the most critical event in the week. This meeting are schedule every 2 times per week and the objective is to evaluate the Scrap metrics of the week and make corrective actions.All this information is presented to the Plant manager once per month.In the Scrap project we already make the goal to reduce our scrap from 0.41% to 0.30% of Electronic plant vs the sales per month. And we are making efforts to maintain this goal or reduce it.Also, I’m supporting SMT and SMD process, this include maintenance to machines, PCs, programming, and designing NPI PCBs on machines software. In addition, I’m auxiliary in Green Belt project were my main objective is to create Scrap reports, charts and presentations also help to coordinate the Corrective Actions in order to complete the goals in JIT of the projects. I was in a team of 5 students, 2 Industrial Engineers and 2 Systems Engineers, I was helping my Industrial team members and also my Systems members, in addition *In the Industrial process: I’ve learn lean tools, working in team, expose to Managers and also General Managers, Directors of the company and I get to know that the most important people in the company are the employees… our clients. *In the Systems process: We developed a Web application using tools like: Visual Studio, SQL, Bootstrap others, we made a Dashboard were the Engineers could see the tasks that where pending, the status of it and also another Engineer could see were the process was stock, also we set a time that if the process was stock 42 hours the manager of the Engineer that was stock would receive a message about the problem. In the web application, also the Engineers could fill information about the process and preview it before that could print it. In this web application we also create rolls for the administration of it, like Administrators, Managers, Engineers and Operators, in order for them to have different type of account and have different privileges. We also diced to use the SQL database of the Company in order to make the log in of the user more fluent, so that the user attached the domain and the pc could automatically log in without doing it manually by the user. In the Lean Challenge program, we compete versus 2 teams, and we won the Challenge and we also went to Monterrey expose our project to all the directors and managers of GE Mexico, that was a big opportunity for us to learn more of each other and other projects Show less
