I've started my career at Geocentre Consulting in 1998 as a C++ programmer.And I'm still there, now as a CTO.All my skills are strongly connected to GIS (software, data, analysis, products, services).First of all, technical supervision and support for spatial data creation process. The goal is to build the most efficient and low-cost processes for creating road network data, address database, topographic objects, different kinds of other datasets - population, traffic jams, etc.Secondly, technical supervision and support for different GIS-related services to manage the data: geocoders, routing, analytical services (geomarketing, fleet management and others).Thirdly, different kinds of data processing modules and utilities (command line tools, GUI modules and plugins), standalone, QGis and ArcGIS plugins.Now I'm responsible for a group of developers, we're supporting our GIS platform, developing new products and always try to improve our quality and efficiency.I take part in all kinds of our activities: as an analytic to understand system requirements, as a software architect to build suitable architecture, as a programmer to help implement the code, then testing, writing documentation. It helps me stay connected with reality, trends, needs of our users and understand problems of our developers.As a manager I'll try to be honest (as much as possible) with our customers, support my staff, make sure that all our decisions could be logically explained.Thanks for reading all this) Maybe we could work together, who knows...
