Officer in charge of an engineering watch who started his carrer in the offshore industry. During that time I have learned everything about those types of engines, hydraulics that are required for anchor handling, operations of AHTS ships an other important thing (engine paperwork, holding watch, etc...). After the end of my contract I've got a recommendation letter from the Chief Engineer presonally who has 30+ years of experience as a Ch. Eng (on oil tankers, later on offshore vessels). After that I wanted to learn more about other types of vessels, so I went on a Crude oil carrier ship, where I have learned about Inert gas system, fuel oil bunkering procedures, cargo bunkering/discharging procedures, steam system, centrifugal separators, maintaining aux engines, maintaining fuel oil booster modules, operating steam boilers, operating steam turbines and cargo pumps, operating with the fresh water generator and water production, fuel oil and cargo heating, sludge transfering and incinearating, collecting oily bilge waters and operating with the oily bilg water separator, ballasting/deballasting. Again Chief engineer gave me the best grades and he is fully satisfied with me and my progress.
