Member of the International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE), the CTN 140/SC7, the Sociedad Española de Mecánica de Suelos e Ingeniería Geotécnica (SEMSIG), and the Canadian Geotechnical Society (CGS). Currently Secretary of the TC-Reinforced Fill at the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) for the 2020-2024 period.
