About Ivan Sablic

I am 37 years of age, and I've started my sailing on passenger vessels at age of 17 working my way up through merchant fleet with now 18 years of marine experience gained over dry cargo ships, chemical tanker, 15 years in offshore oil and gas industry and recently within renewables on CTV's.In short lines I am hard worker and I like dynamic and challenging jobs. Self motivated and result driven individual. I am seeking new career opportunities and challenges in offshore/renewbles industry. I can manually drive all types of offshore vessels from small tugs to large PSV-s, CTV's regardless of propulsion type from classical type CPP/FPP to Z drive.Rich DP experience on Kongsberg and Coverteam DP2 system, as well on Alstom and Biere Radio. During my career I had chance to take over new built vessel, to carry out dry dockings (as C/O with age of 24), participate in vessel modifications and upgrades, including upgrades of DP systems and DP conversions and FEMA trials Familiar with all kinds of Navigational and DP equipment such as JRC,Furuno, Thrane&Thrane,Sperry Marine, Fan beam,Cyscan,RadaScan,Radius,Hipap,Taut wire and etc.In past 15 years I have been serving on various vessels and diverse project's from AHT, AHTS, PSV, Accommodation, Field maintenance service, tugs and Well simulation type, survey, standby, subsea support, large yachts and recently on CTV'sMy English is fluent, both in written and spoken due to years of working with international crew.
