Formerly a lead development engineer of the EV Charging Station Design Department. One of the completed projects is the development of a charger for EVs with one Type 2 socket and two DC connectors CCS & CHAdeMO.As a CPO technical specialist, I was involved in integration of new EVSEs to the existing CPMS, analyzed incompatibilities of EVSE to the OCPP1.6J. Developed technical specification and a patch for CPMS to solve the problem of incompatible EVSEs. Developed documentation for repairing old EVSEs and instruction for grid connecting new EVSEs. Prepared a template with technical requirements for procurement of future charging stations.Currently as a test engineer, I’m creating new test suites that can cover real-world scenarios and edge cases. I perform not only ISO 15118-4/-5 conformance tests, but also end-to-end tests of the charging station, which is simultaneously connected to the backend via OCPP and to the EV emulator. I’m capable of pointing out what needs to be improved and provide consultation on how to solve the issue. If it is necessary to investigate what causes a malfunction, and the current suite of test cases don’t provide enough data for analysis, I’m able to develop new test cases to identify a specific implementation flaw or identify unstable behavior under specific conditions. In my work, I rely on standards for CCS protocol ISO 15118, IEC 61851, DIN SPEC 70121, also GB/T 27930-2015, CHAdeMO (ChaoJi) and open protocols OCPP, OICP, OPCP, OPNC, OCPI.I have experience in Fieldbus networks such as MODBUS, CAN, INTERBUS, PROFINET, EtherCAT and serial communication interfaces RS-485, RS-232.I have SW development experience in IEC 61131-3 ST, FBD in PC WorX and Codesys, some experience in programming STM32 controllers in C, debugging the server side of the charging infrastructure in Golang, and creating scripts in Python.I can read and understand circuit diagrams and object drawings, when needed I can draw them myself by using AutoCAD, NanoCAD or Solidworks, NX or E3.Series, but I have no experience as a full-time designer. If some calculations are required, I can use MATLAB or Mathcad.I love working with people who are as passionate about Electric Vehicles and eMobility as I am.As an electrical engineer, I have no problem working in industrial facilities including test centers, manufacturing or in the field.I can easily multitask, prioritize urgent tasks, and am productive on deadlines. The languages I speak are Russian (native) and English (С1). Also, I know some very basic Finnish.

Emobility Test Electrical EngineerHubject Mar 2023 - PresentBerlin, GermanyAs a member of the R&D department, I develop test cases, test suites and tools for test automation. My key role is to improve the quality of the entire Hubject Plug & Charge ecosystem and user experience by setting high testing standards for all key Plug & Charge elements such as CSMS, EVSE and EV.At the Hubject Test Facility my duties include:– Testing the EVSEs and EVs of our partners and customers for proper Plug & Charge functionality according to ISO 15118. I provide End-to-End testing verifying both the implementation of OCPP and ISO. – Conducting conformance tests to ISO 15118 and DIN SPEC 70121 for EVs and EVSEs.– Performing security audit to ensure that the tested equipment uses the Hubject PKI in a secure manner in accordance with the internal standards and ISO 15118. My role here is checking the correct management of private keys and trusted root certificates.– Coaching the sales department: technical features, key differences and preparing answers to frequent questions; to improve the quality of the first contact with the client of the service.– Providing implementation support to clients for ISO 15118 and OCPP for Plug & Charge functionality.– Consulting the clients who want to implement Plug & Charge technology, preparing the necessary requirements, analyzing the current level of implementation and development roadmap.– Supporting the onboarding of new CPOs to the "Hubject Plug&Charge Ecosystem" platform running on OPCP by providing and operating certified equipment for conducting CPMS and CSMS tests and analyzing correct OCPP PnC messages.– Training new employees including at US and China offices.I also help organize events such as ICNC conference where I provide grid connection, internet and backend connectivity to all showcase for Plug & Charge. For CharIN Testival I provide our PKI and backend for End-to-End EVSE and EV Plug & Charge tests, and create endpoints for our CSMS and various contracts for all EVs being tested. -
Freelance Evse Technical ConsultantCharge Point Operator Oezs Jan 2023 - Feb 2023Nur-Sultan, KazakhstanIdentified problems the CPO has experienced with new charging stations while connecting to an operating CPMS that already worked with other stations.Prepared a claim to the manufacturer of charging stations, listing OCPP1.6J protocol inconsistencies.Developed an external proxy service for CPMS that is able to resolve inconsistencies in the OCPP1.6J protocol of a certain charging station, correcting the payload according to the standard.Developed a method of repairing old discontinued DC fast charging stations, by cannibalization, to extend the life of the remaining charging stations. Also created a list of parts for which analogs can be found. Also reverse engineered electrical circuit of the a discontinued charging station to simplify subsequent repair and maintenance. After analyzing the charging stations in operation, I created recommendations for modernizing the equipment in the switchboards to meet national electrical safety standards. Prepared model requirements for the procurement of new charging stations.Provided advice on the selection of future charging station locations, taking into account ease of use by users and available power capacity, including the selection of a transformer to power megawatt hubs when connecting them to 6kV and 10kV networks.

Lead Software EngineerПао "Силовые Машины" / Power Machines, Pjsc Mar 2021 - Jul 2022St Petersburg, St Petersburg City, RussiaLead developer in the department of design of electric vehicle charging stations. Created firmware for IEC 61131-3 "Phoenix Contact" PLC for DC fast charging via CCS "DIN SPEC 70121"/"ISO 15118-2" and CHAdeMO v1.2. Developed TCP-based custom protocol for communication with embedded PC. Implemented in ST proprietary CAN-protocol for UUGreenPower rectifier module with my own custom power balance management algorithm to prevent throttling caused by overheating.Made use case algorithms for UI of EVSE that were based on OCPP 2.0.1 requirements.Assembled and set up EtherCAT fieldbus for sensors, RS-485 for power meters and RS-232 for RFID reader. Our team of 4 people used Kanban Agile, and we developed a workable prototype in a year. I debugging my PLC program in our test center with EV and providing testing with user case scenarios with our product. Now working on a self-testing program module for remote diagnostics. I take part in electric circuit development, as an experienced test engineer. I reviewed and edited all circuit diagrams in E3.Series software before ones were been released. Also, if necessary I visit our production line to help improve the start of production. My internship in college as a production line manager helps great. -
Electric Drive Test EngineerПао "Силовые Машины" / Power Machines, Pjsc Feb 2018 - Feb 2021St Petersburg, St Petersburg City, RussiaProvide parametric and stress tests for different types of electric drives, for example, traction drive of 240-ton dump truck BELAZ.Provide tests for new types of drives that were still under development to determine critical parameters and EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility). Also, make software coefficient adjustments for tuning parameters.Sometimes I provide tests for power hardware that does not contain moving parts, such as DC-exciters for generators, battery charging equipment or standalone inverters. As an electrician engineer, I used to troubleshoot circuits, when it couldn’t be solved by a production line technician. The duties of a test engineer also included the preparation of test circuits, adding measuring instruments where it was necessary, and providing safety for everyone on the test site. Also, I used my programming knowledge to automatize some measurements and analyze them. For some products, I shortened the time of tests by optimizing measurement methods. My feedback helps develop engineers to make products better.Because of my experience and advanced knowledge of programming for that work, I become a software developer for PLC in the new department.
