Design, implements and manage inventory control system• Ensure proper classification, labelling and warehousing of all inventory• Keep an oversight of all warehouse and purchasing function related to stock items• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the maintenance of proper inventory levels and management of inventories across the country.• Ensure that accurate record of inventory levels and location are maintained across the org.• Prepare annual budget to cover warehouse expenditure• Participate in the preparation of the company’s business planning process by supplying a forecast working capital requirement in the plan period.• Maintains inventory by conducting monthly counts.• Ensure effective, safe timely and accurate stock management i.e. space allocation & stock transfer • Ensure safe working conditions within warehouse.• Coordinate with all other subsidiaries to ensure inventory reconciliation.• Ensure the procurement/contracting policy and inventory guidelines are adhered to. • Reviews and updates pre-qualification suppliers/vendors list is updated if need be and is in correlation with procurement policy. • Ensures relevant procurement procedures have been applied and all supporting documentation is attached. • Ensures invoices received reconcile to purchase orders and matched receipts of purchase orders.• Handles contract management in regards to renewal, payment etc. • Ensures deliveries are processed in an adequate and timely manner• Provide leadership, coordination and conduct ethical negotiation with vendors based on thorough research on the competitive positions of the respective parties.• Manage the key elements of the sourcing process ensuring vendors are pre-qualifies as appropriate and ensure the timely delivery of services.• Manage contracts over its life, develop and implement their appropriate contractor Key Performance Indicators

Procurement:• Purchases in accordance to the specifications• Establish commercial alignment with vendors to ensure that the integrated benefits, requirements and objectives of the business are met.• Monitors and co-ordinates deliveries of items from suppliers, together with Accounts department• Ensures that various services, equipment, and office supplies are identified, procured and supplied• Processes complaints about goods procured, follow-up with supplier, demanding corrections, and achieving satisfaction on the side of the colleague asking to order• Close cooperation with the colleagues which require the goods
