Berkeley Engineering’s Transfer Pre-Engineering Program (T-PREP) begins with a three week summer program offered to incoming Berkeley Engineering transfer students. T-PREP continues throughout the year with workshops and events that are for your cohort.During this program's Maker Design Studio section, my team members and I conducted an in-depth discussion on the social problem of theft of items in vehicles in the Bay Area. We interviewed the stakeholders, designed the features of our system, and finally we prototype our product and presented it to the audience company such as Boeing, Chevron, General Motors and Google. The product that we developed, SafeAtCal, is an anti-car theft system that contains a real-time tracking, break-in detecting, and alarm components. In this program, I implement the SPRINT design process and enhanced my teamwork ability.

As a store manager, I am in charge of arranging each worker's responsibilities, declaring the sales goal, updating the stock room, and managing the working schedule. I also provide IT service for some customers with off connection issues. In addition, training the new employees and mentoring them the basic selling technique are also part of my responsibility.

I am one of the physics tutors in tutoring center. I usually went over some crucial concepts or provided the strategies of solving the problem for them. When I was tutoring them, I realized that building confidence for them could further encourage them to make progress. During the process, I not only gained a sense of accomplishment, I also get a chance to review some physics concepts to further develop my knowledge.
