Studied Marine Sciences in Riau University and PADI Open Water Diver Training in 1997 created a path for me to be a reef checker and a marine conservationist. Team leader for several conservation actions in campuss such as Mangrove Research, Seedlings, Planting, Conservation and Management.Continued with Reef Check Training of Trainer (ToT) in 2001 after graduated from Riau University. Back to North Sumatra, initiating Coral Reef Conservation, organized Reef Check Surveys, Beach Cleaning and Marine Conservation Campaigns. In 2005, as a Coral Reef Rehabilitation and Management Program Project Management Consultant (PMC) staff for North Sumatra Region. Team Leader for Underwater Surveys, Projects Planning and Implementation for Marine Management Area, Alternative Livehood Development, Local Communities Groups establishment and education for the project funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB). An opportunity for Advanced Scuba Diver in 2005 to 2009 as Underwater Photographer and Cameraman and as a Scuba School International (SSI) Open Water Diver Instructor took me to national level. Involved in some projects of Marine and Fisheries Affairs Ministry, Tourism and Culture Ministry and local goverments. Visiting and diving in some exotic small islands in Indonesia from Sabang, Nias, Batam, Bintan, Lingga, Natuna, Karimun Jawa, Kapoposang, Ternate, Tidore, Halmahera, Wakatobi, Tual and Raja Ampat. In 2010, my role as an environmental expert in Nickel mining exploration took me to Nickel Mining Industry. Environmental Assessment, Hydrography and Bathymetry Survey, and Harbour Planning. And then become a HSE Manager and Shipping Manager in PT. Haltim Mining, a nickel mining company located in East Halmahera, North Molucca. Until in 2014, the ban of raw ore export, including Nickel ore, the company stop the operation.2021, looking for new challenges and opportunities.
