Maintain all aspects of our production and test networks, from configuration of servers, and network gear, to planning our current data center move. Designed the upcoming network for the visionary networks main site, and implemented the design as well as acted as project lead for all that it entails.

Responsible for the design, engineering and day-to-day support of WAN, LAN, internal network, and offsite co-location network facilities. There were a total of 4 networks under maintenance, connected by VPN WAN links. Configure and fine tune all network gear, which include, but not limited to Cisco Routers, Switches, Pix, Load Balancers, and VPN concentrators, via a combination of CLI and Ciscoworks. Openview was installed to monitor health and reliability of gear. Work in a small design team on the future direction of controlled networks. Also work as integral support resource for network issues such as diagnosing network congestion, collisions or other abnormalities.

Designed and implemented complex, highly secure network for the backend service for a new consumer device for the Intel Tablet Operation. Lead the operations effort from initial deployment plans to supervision of day-to-day operations and 24x7 on-call schedules. Managed 3rd parties operations relationships from initial set up and issue escalations. Activities consisted of basic server installation, DNS setup, HTTP/FTP server configuration, advanced router/switch configuration, Firewall configuration, network configuration, hardware load balancing, and being a communication liaison between teams on the status of network conditions and stability through our documentation repository.
