Once again, in a very short frame of time Ivan delivered superior results through successful restructuring of operations of the company the Group owned and by attaining superior operational and financial results in a very difficult, distressed asset, located far away from Moscow headquarters in Siberia. Talking about personal qualities, I would like to stress that Ivan is a highly professional manager. Ivan possesses a highly valuable trait of being, at one hand, a highly demanding and critical to the management of subsidiaries investment director, but at the same time, being able to successfully find the right way to resolve issues without conflict. He is reserved, but at the same time has an ability to convey directly and non-politically what he thinks, both to his superiors and to subordinates. Having an experience of working with companies in Siberia he understands the Russian specifics, and at the same time he is highly successful at combining the best Western managerial practices with undestanding of the Russian culture and of being sensitive to absolutely different backgrounds of people he is dealing with. The only negative side of Ivan that some other observers can state is that, according to them, he may seen sometimes like "too pessimistic". But this impression is wrong.
