IT sphere is a sphere of lifelong learning. You have to learn something new every day. New technologies, new work principles, new and ever-increasing business demands, entail IT infrastructure development, which happened at the enterprise that is the largest beer and beverages company in Moldova which is also a part of the enterprises Group that is in top 5 largest beer producers in Europe and in top 10 in the world.Over the last 10 years, I have been directly involved in the transformation of IT infrastructure: from a local network with many unstructured resources, sometimes stored directly on local computers, to a developed hybrid infrastructure.At the first stage, a large-scale work was carried out to modernize the network, both logically and physically. Cisco core switches were installed, the local network was divided into virtual networks (corporate/guest/mgmt), access list control was also applied. The gateway FortiGate was responsible for security.At the second stage, the Site-to-Site VPN tunnel with HQ was established. Due to which all enterprises were united into a single network.Some servers have been migrated to Hyper-V Failover Cluster. The domain controller has been migrated to a single shared domain, the controller in the HQ Data Center. Also RADIUS for Cisco Aironet Wireless was launched with SSO authorization.Furthermore, at the same time, there was a project to migrate on-premises infrastructure in cloud (Azure AD, Microsoft 365).The daily routine includes the direct users support across the organization: helping set up hardware or software, diagnosing connectivity or data access problems, answering questions about hardware or software, and helping users with access shared drives and devices. Training and informing staff through instructions and manuals distribution, also useful articles and video tutorials selection.As for more modest projects, work was done to - IT infrastructure in several small enterprises (10 to 20 users). Work was carried out: from network configuration (Mikrotik) with VPN remote access settings, to installing servers with roles ADDS, Hyper- V, DNS, Remote Desktop, File Server.Keep going
