Spent more than fiftteen (15) years leading and managing the technical teams and some five (5) years managing the commercial lending team (USAID Business Finance project). Familiar and experienced with regulations and projects funded by the international financing institutions (World Bank, USAID), as well as with forms of standard bidding documents and contracts (World Bank, FIDIC, EBRD), tender documents preparation, budgeting and procurement of goods, works, equipment and consulting services. Experienced with AECOM (U.S.A.) Project Delivery System that provides a consistent approach to project deliver from bid proposal preparation to initial planning, execution and closure. The matrix system has been designed and implemented (Project Delivery Framework) to promote risk awarness at every stage of of a project. Served on numerous infrastructure projects in the South East Europe (former Yugoslavia), Middle East (Jordan, Syria), Africa (Libya), United Arab Emirates and recently in Pakistan. Responsibilities included, inter alia, water/wastewater treatment plant and water/wastewater and irrigation pumping stations designs, treatment process control system, processing and pump equipment selection and procurement, and culminating in preparation of tender documents, technical and financial analysis and further expert studies.Academic qualifications combined with extensive practical experience in the fields of urban water/wastewater infrastructure and river/lake/coastal water protection, both at home and abroad.
