- Gather relevant data, report shop findings and initiate corrective action in support of root cause determination on in-service problems or operational issues.- Develops solutions and implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis and overall management of project implementation which can include obtaining FAA approvals and coordinate warranty recovery on SBs that are applicable.- Write concise technical documents for the testing, repair and overhaul of components to comply with manufacturer documents or legal requirements.- Investigate, develop & implement repair processes, procedures for assigned components. Efficiently collaborate with various internal and external resources for developing effective repair schemes for boosting component reliability within acceptable cost parameters.- Utilizes various OEM technical manuals such as, but not limited to: component maintenance manuals (CMM), aircraft maintenance manuals (AMM), fault isolation manuals (FIM), component and airframe service bulletins (SB), etc.- Presently assigned to ATA 22, 23, 31, 34, and 787 Boeing GoldCare components.

Supports the UPS fleet of A300, 747, 757, 767, and MD-11 cargo aircraft by maintaining airworthiness and regulatory compliance as req'd by the FAA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, a/c config. mgmt, certification approvals, AD's, data analysis, project development and implementation, and oversight of a/c & component realibility solutions, repairs, and modifications.

- Leads and coordinates team on various projects for multiple airlines* aimed at increasing revenues, cabin re-configurations & reinvigorations, and reducing operating costs for the carrier- Develops engineering paperwork as part of the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC), i.e. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), Service Bulletin (SB), Airworthiness Directive (AD), package submission to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) – Form 8130-3 inclusive or European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)- Accustomed to Aircraft Illustration Parts Catalog (AIPC), Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) and other Repair/Overhaul Manuals- Liaises with Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO)’s multi departments (engineers, planners, buyers, kitting, mechanics & etc) to optimize work steps to improve efficiency, resulting in shorter lead times; therefore early Return to Service (RTS)- Supports the development of statements of work by partnering with Managers, Directors, VPs, Executives, Vendors, Suppliers & FAA Organization Designation Authorization (ODA)- Manages projects by prioritizing long lead time products, keeping a logbook for “robbed” parts,detailing Customer Furnished Equipments (CFE) and Buyer Furnished Equipments (BFE)- Participates in meetings, Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), First Article Inspection (FAI), Aircraft Surveys, seminars and training sessions to stay appraised of new developments in field always & quality first” value  Utilizes MyBoeingFleet, AirbusWorld, Citrix, AutoCAD (over 25,000 hours), SAP, Microsoft Office- Provides on-site, including international based Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul, MRO – 14 CFR 145 (HAECO, SASCO, Flightstar, VT SAA, Ethiopian, etc), technical support for implementation of the aircraft prototype
