At this work my physical strength and endurance was tested as I was working at a fast pace with unpacking, testing, and repairing the scooters. I’m enjoying this type of work environment where you’re required to lift heavy, work fast and do this together with a team. This job has not only required strength but also an eye for details and quality as I have had the responsibility to make sure that everything that leaves my hands meets all the requirements. I have a forklift license and I feel very confident in my driving skills.

This was my latest work experience as a waiter at a fast-food restaurant which is located in the heart of the Old town in Dubrovnik. The competition was high since each day the main street was filled with tourists having to choose a place to eat amongst restaurants placed in every corner. Thereby, my role as a waiter came with great responsibilities since I had to use my social skills and selling skills to attract costumers to choose our restaurant. I had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and I loved the diverse work environment. I developed a high endurance and a high pace as I worked there every day with no days off during one of Croatia’s toughest seasons. I took orders, handled the cash register, served the customers, cleaned the space and stood by the menu to get the attention from customers walking by.

In this role I worked as a barista and waiter combined. Even though this was one of my earliest jobs I had vital responsibilities. One of them was the inventory of the café. My main tasks were to handle the cash register, customer service, make coffee and other beverages, dishwash and clean the space. I had to be adaptive to the changing working environment, since the cafe was outside and a little cabin was my workspace. I loved working ast that cafe as I had daily contact with the customers and it was a comfortable yet exciting environment. Additionally, I gained knowledge on how to professionally treat customers.
