Manage, control and directs the activities and staff involved in the distribution of inventory to the production line.Manage, control and directs staff to achieve Materials profit and loss objectives including minimizationOf excess and obsolete inventoryEnsures the timely delivery of materials at the most economical cost, consistent with quality standards, affecting quality by assuring that suspicious material is identified and that material is handled, stored and delivered properly. Ensures a high degree of customer satisfaction through negotiations of customer expectations, and managing and directing staff activities required to meet this expectation.Coordinates with customers, commodity managers, operations managers and warehouse managers.Responsible for accurate inventory cycle counts, and controls.Provides for the proper shipping and documentation of finished goods.Develops, implements and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems.Reviews, plans and approves purchase orders and change noticesReviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.Responsible for disposition of excess and obsolete materials.Review COS report with customer as regards HIGH risk and medium risk. And confer with GCM in case of too high riskCTB report on weekly basis, to achieve material status for production.
