Currently working as an Allied Health Team Leader and an Early Childhood Intervention Therapist/Key Worker (Social Worker) at Everyday Independece. In my current and previous leadership roles, I have demonstrated the ability to lead an effective and efficient team. I have had the opportunity to build and maintain effective professional relationships with staff, support team dynamics, manage challenging behaviours, streamline processes, provide professional direction and empower staff to deliver a high quality of service.Through my democratic and coaching styles of leadership, I have provided opportunities for learning, reflective practice, professional development and growth. I believe these skills and attributes are extremely beneficial in leadership positions. I have also experienced opportunities in management, which assisted in further enhancing my management skill and I have developed a deeper understanding of management expectations and responsibilities. I am an active member of the AASW, AMHSW & Mental Health Academy. Also, I recently obtained my AOD Skill Set Qualification via Odyssey Institute. Further to this, I take initiative in my professional development and actively participate in training, workshops and other learning opportunities to enhance my professional skillset.
