The project was an assessment of a financial institute’s IT-portfolio (consisting of more than 2400 applications) using an economic application portfolio management (eAPM) approach. The objective was to assess the IT-landscape, identify rationalization opportunities and provide actionable recommendations for the client to act on. The outcome was an action plan of 25 actions impacting 995 applications, with cost savings of 1.4 – 31.6 million EUR. As an analyst I was responsible for data collection preparation, data crunching, handling of change requests and data collection follow up.
