The co-founder and creative director of High Street Studios, Fuka was born in Prague during the years when it was not yet the place to be.Graduated from New York School of Art & Design in visual communication and illustration, later obtained a diploma in visual communications (communication visuelle) from l'École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris.Her interest in l'art brut and her clinical practice decided her to obtain a Maitrîse of Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology at the University of Paris VII.She worked for many years as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator with clients such as Apple Computer Inc., Houghton & Mifflin Publications, Macmillan Publications, Nathan, Bayard Presse, Cofinoga, Nouvelles Galleries, etc.In the beginning of the 90's she accepted a position as an Art Director and later Publications Manager at Apple Computer Europe. She created a new line of user's guides and packaging for communications products for worldwide distribution. She participated at the creation of the first online help system AppleGuide for all Macintosh products.in 1998 Fuka founded High Street Studios together with her associates Jacques Bonnivard (A.Set) and Ernest Sturm (University of California, Santa Barbara), specialized in multilingual design and communications, B2B & B2C marketing and advertising (print - video - online), for clients such as Philips Healthcare, Philips Automotive, Lumileds, Schlumberger, Carrier1, HighWave Technologies, QPark, AdaCore Europe and others.With the beginning of the year 2000 High Street Studios inaugurated an additional office in Montaimont, Savoie (France).Fuka is currently retired, pursuing individual design projects between Paris, Prague and San Francisco.
