TEDx is a community of dedicated individuals who invest their free time, into organizing local TED-like conferences, and in the process, develop expertise and experience. TED provides a license, guidelines, and format, but everything else is executed by the local organizers.Since 2011, TEDxNoviSad has held 5 big conferences (100+ attendees) and a few smaller ones (different type of TEDx license: TEDxSalon, TEDxChange, TEDxWomen).As the TEDxNoviSad licensee, I have managed and coordinated a core team of organizers, mostly the same since 2011. I have defined team roles and expectations based on the event’s needs. All team members have an opportunity to learn more and develop their role through the resources TED provides to the TEDx community.- Set foundations for the speaker selection process, research, and communication;- Developed resources and guidelines for speaker preparation and training;- Developed basic training of the conference-day volunteers;- Managed the social media and marketing side of the event (Wordpress based website; social networks; PR);- Managed finance and budgeting;- Developed basic sponsorship guidelines and outreach rules.As the longest lasting TEDx licensee in Serbia, I have mentored and advised new licensees in the country and the region. I continue to support the TEDx team at TED by helping develop new TEDx events.TEDxNoviSad team hosted the first National TEDx Organizers' Workshop in October 2016.

I was hired to this position after 2 years of volunteering as a translator and a TEDx organizer.Previously OTP (Open Translation Project) - TEDx Liaison (2012-2015), connecting the TED Translators (25,000+ volunteers) and TEDx communities (15,000+ volunteers).Responsible for integration of the TEDx talks into the TED’s translation project. Prior to 2012, only TED talks were subtitled by the volunteers worldwide.Established the workflow and guidelines for transcription (captioning) and translation of TEDx talks.Participated in developing linguistic and technical rules and guidelines for transcription and translation.Collaborated with the TEDx team at TED to promote subtitling among the volunteer TEDx teams and organizers.Organized multiple translation-related workshops for TEDx organizers at TED conferences and local TEDx events and gatherings. These consisted of sharing the technical know-how, and connecting the members of the two communities.Provided subtitling training and mentorship to TEDx organizers and teams. Helped multiple organizers recruit and train translation teams or collaborate with the TED Translators volunteers.Helped coordinate and support transcription/translation marathons for TEDx organizers around the world. These are day-long events where local volunteers get together to subtitle as many talks as possible.Other duties:I utilized my previous experience as workshop lead and trainer, to prepare and host multiple Translators’ workshops at TED conferences. A number of volunteer translators are brought to each TED conference to exchange experience, expertise and hear news from the project leaders.Preparation and execution of the Translators’ Workshop at TEDGlobal>Geneva, December 2015. I was responsible for inviting translators, booking their accommodations and transportation, planning and executing the half-day workshop.Organized the Translators’ Workshop at TEDSummit, 2016 - prepared the day-long content, speakers and activities.

Strategic planning, Marketing and Coaching.Developing training programs for children, youth and adults. Coordinating and executing workshops and trainings for groups as well as individual coaching.

As a psychologist, authored and lead workshops for youth with problem behaviors, on the Center's "Klub08" Project. The goal of the project was to give a constructive environment for spending free time, in the form of a day club, for youth with behavioral problems and court ordered sanctions. Through this Club, the Center helps their development and social inclusion.

Participate in planning and managing events. Promotion and marketing. Writing and editing articles for the website.

Hosting Dance Arena performers and artists during festival days - communication and liaising with the festival organizers, airport and hotel pick-ups and drop-offs.

Coordinating the Festival promotional and PR activities in the region (Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia) - I worked with the festival's regional collaborators and representatives on disseminating promotional materials and organizing ticket sales.I co-organized a weekend meet-up of the regional representatives, with workshops and team-building activities.
