Working as a research intern in the WIDE team of the IRISA laboratory, I had the opportunity to work on optimizing Wireguard VPN.- I specified experimentation requirements, validated them with my supervisors, and implemented the required experimentation setup to validate our research intuition.- I developed a configurable tool to automate the orchestration and analysis of experiments on the Wireguard VPN kernel module in Python. - I conducted a literature overview and scientific watch on subjects related to VPN optimization, encryption, and it’s optimization via hardware and/or software.- I Implemented a prototype of wireguard with headers-only encryption and conducted comparative experiments.

I worked as a part-time full-stack engineer at Wiicom telecommunication startup company.I helped conceive and develop a new software architecture and corresponding framework from scratch. This consisted of- A generic database architecture for handling ‘entities’ with PostgreSQL stored procedures, views, and triggers for creating and managing those.- A PHP framework implemented from scratch to communicate with the PostgreSQL database.- An event-based javascript framework based on a WebSocket connection with the PHP framework to support bi-directional event passing.I investigated the feasibility of an Erlang implementation to replace PHP for its higher speed and scalability opportunities. We created a prototype in Erlang.I helped maintain existing apps while gradually refactoring the codebase to the new framework, these helped save about 2-3 hours per feature request while assuring a more maintainable codebase.Worked on WiiMo e-wallet as part of the ecosystem of apps of the Wiicom network, to send and receive money to other Wiicom users and other operators.- Conducted research on existing payment integrations with administrative and technical constraints of each, with a focus on documentation and support.- I developed an event-based API using the new framework and set up Cinet Pay integration for sending and receiving money from other operators.- Implemented front-end design of the prototype and API integration.Started developing dashboards to track sales and income flow. These interfaces were dynamic with different data visualization perspectives for each role.

It allowed for 3 level-deep hierarchy with the possibility of reordering elements in each hierarchy group.I Implemented a prototype version of the Yaknema e-commerce platform with Typescript, TailwindCSS, Vue, and Vuex.I Developed an optimized Media browser frontend for SONATREL using Tailwind, Typescript, and Vue.
