I like to learn and I'm curious about the world. As two of my life's main driving forces, this curiosity and enthusiasm for learning has led me to many places and ideascapes. Through a variety of volunteering activities, internships, education opportunities, and eventually in my previous & current job, I spent the last 10 years examining cultural questions of identity while deepening my knowledge of overlapping topics of interest: cultural relations, migration, internationalization, cosmopolitanism and regional integration. This personal, academic, and professional exploration -- which intensively immersed me into complex cultural working contexts and drove me into a highly mobile life -- allowed me to hone my craft in the international affairs and international development sectors and develop skills and experiences which cater to a variety of professional reponsibilities, most notably in project management (i.e. various aspects of implementation, managing stakeholder relations, and external communication [PR, social media, web design and administration]). Following the completion of my studies, I spent 3 fruitful years as Programme Officer at the European Union Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN Region (SHARE) Programme -- an EU-funded project that supports ASEAN's vision to establish a common higher education space in Southeast Asia -- in which I was part of the DAAD team until the conclusion of the project in 2022. I am currently part of the ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen / Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations)’s Dialogue & Research team, where I take care of the Research Programme “Kultur und Außenpolitik”/“Culture and Foreign Policy”.
