Working with a team of Purdue engineers, both undergraduate and graduate students, to design and build an automated hydroponic plant growth chamber for the NASA Specialized Center of Research and Training Cuvette under Dr. Cary A. Mitchell. Our goal is to develop a plant chamber capable of optimizing plant growth on the international space station. This cuvette system uses sensitive instrumentation and data acquisition to measure, monitor, and control the environment inside of the chamber.
