Ivan Bekaren is a poet, singer-songwriter, and an actor, trained for stage and screen. He is also a wellness adept individual who is passionate about learning new things and exploring the world. Think "The classic renaissance man or polymath," a fact which has led him to also become a certified Guided Meditation expert, life and wellness coach, as well as a Neuro linguistic programming practitioner in view of his natural inclination towards positive contributions to the world. Ivan loves books! Having had his wide penchant for music and the arts developed from very early on, Ivan is a passionate embodiment of great artistic content, knowledge, advancement, a proud conduit for personal and ecological empowerment, as well as a driver of excellence. Ivan helps people think better thoughts, feel better feelings, heal from past hurts & trauma, in order to help them become the next best versions of themselves by employing his professional skills in this regard. As a matter of fact, upon emerging a winner at the Lagos model United Nations Conference's Idea Fair competition in 2020 as a Law Student, Ivan got to spearhead the Rebuildmymind project, a mental health initiative, employing guided meditation towards addressing specific mental health issues in young people with the active participation of other guided meditation experts from across the world. The project was set up in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development goal 3, which advances the need for good health and well being for all and succeeded at positively impacting over 150 young people in Lagos, Nigeria.Ivan is also a certified chartered Mediator (AICMC) in the dispute resolution field, and in this vein, is well equipped for the purpose of ensuring positively mindblowing results for his clients, including couples, groups and individuals, as well as being a consistent enabler of excellent communication in said clients' regard. Of his published works, three of Ivan's poems "Baby midnight train," "Talking Tree" and "Show me all the stars" appear in the Canadian based Poetry Marathon Anthologies for 2020, 2021and 2023 respectively.By leveraging his skills, talents and experience, Ivan is happily disposed to creation and collaboration within existing, as well as new and emerging spaces.
