La Fundación es una organización sin fines de lucro que promueve la observancia, promoción y respeto a los derechos humanos como vía para afianzar valores como la tolerancia, la igualdad y el respeto a la diversidad en la sociedad.La Fundación promueve la educación de valores democráticos en base a los principios de libertad, igualdad ante la ley y no discriminación como elementos fundamentales para fortalecer el desarrollo y la paz.Aunque el ámbito de operación sea la República de Panamá, la Fundación podrá participar de alianzas, corresponsalías o cualquier tipo de coordinación, vínculos o eventos a nivel regional o mundial con organizaciones internacionales o de otros países con objetivos iguales o similares.

Fellow to the LGBT Rights Program. The LGBT Rights Program defends and promotes the rights of LGBT people globally. Focal areas include violence and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, criminalization of same-sex conduct, restrictions on freedoms of expression and association, abuses in medical settings, and socio-economic rights including access to education, healthcare, and employment.

The Sí Acepto campaign aims to bring the stories of same-sex couples, their families, and friends to the general public, in a strategic, research-based campaign that can change hearts and minds. The campaign focuses on the question of whether it is okay for gay and lesbian couples to unite in a civil marriage in Panama. The campaign will include television ads, social media content, and media interviews from common families throughout Panama. This campaign builds on a recent successful campaign that increased support for marriage in Costa Rica.
