• Developed an integrated computational/experimental framework to feed data from an experimental cancer drug screening platform into a suite of computational models that mine for potential biological mechanisms accounting for the successfully-screened drugs• Developed tools for processing and analyses of gigabyte-scale image stream data from biomechanical engineering experiments involving cancer cells• Routed results from analyses of image stream data into a parallelizable large-scale Monte Carlo-based modeling and simulation platform for examining scenarios not easily accessible by experimental platforms• Also involved in computational projects on fuzzy logic modeling of biochemical signaling pathways, 3D image analysis, and cell biomechanics modeling• Also involved in experimental projects on controlling differentiation of stem cells in 3D microfluidic environments, and coming up with a 3D in vitro system to demonstrate cancer intravasation and extravasation
