The Council aims at fostering closer ties between the United States and Italy and, more broadly, transatlantic relationships.The Council's objectives are:- to broaden and deepen the links between business leaders in the United States and Italy with a view to promoting economic interchange between the two countries;- to improve members’ knowledge and understanding of the evolving Italian and European economic and political environment;- to provide a forum for examination of economic and political issues with a European or global dimension that are of interest to the members;- to contribute to the Italian members’ knowledge and understanding of the evolving U.S. economic and political environment
